The Unexamined Life is Not Worth Living

Aloha, My name is Rebecca Lea McCarthy and I am the founder of Pop-Up Theatrics.  We believe that "The Unexamined Life is Not Worth Living." This is a quote by Socrates, and he used this argument as a defense at his trial in Athens, defending why he asked a lot of questions of himself and others. Socrates lost his case, but he left the world with a lot to think about, namely why the hell do we do what we do, how can we make sense of things, and should we consider doing something different?

Using comedy, drama, intellectual offerings and classes, the purpose of Pop-Up Theatrics is to bring offerings that allow us to examine life, living, and the whole shebang. Our focus is to bring quality entertainment, talks, workshops and classes to communities, large and small, who do not have easy access to these arts. Each year we create new offerings, along with popular favorites, to tour to retirement communities, RV communities, mountain communities amount several others.  Our company is small, comprising of 1 to 4 people depending on the offerings selected and the availability of our artists.

Take a moment to preview this year's offerings!  I don't think you will be disappointed.
